Bandstand Stage
The Bandstand is central to the whole event, a beautiful traditional stage hosting colourful traditional performances. This is really the heart of the Mela, filled with music and dancing.
It’s also where the official opening takes place with speeches, cutting of the Mela cake and Swindon’s own Dhollies & Bhangra Dancers leading the procession down to the Showcase Stage
