Swindon Mela is more than music and dance.There are plenty of ways to explore and enjoy a wide range of Asian inspired activities. The items purchased for the Activities Zone are supported through the Swin-don Borough Council Grassroots Grant which will enable community participation in the activities throughout the day.

Confidently learn how to create some authentic culi-nary delights with Terri Rhind who is currently work-ing within the food industry and is the local leader and consultant for a national food tasting company. Good basic healthy cooking that is so easy you'll want to experiment on family and friends.

The Health Zone

Coordinated by Rita Patel and Mina Bhogal the Health Zone invites you to take a breather in an area of calm and tranquil-lity amidst all the hustle and bustle of the event. The Health Zone offers people a chance to try out alternative therapies such as Thai Foot Massage, Indian Head Massage, Reflexology, Aromatherapy, Swedish Massage, Hopi Candle and Reiki, plus take part in the Tai Chi workshops. You can access a wealth of information towards living a more natural and healthier life with health checks and gain life saving skills.
